Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3.5 years of progressively responsible professional investigative experience.
• Knowledge of interviewing and interrogation techniques, rules of legal evidence, search and seizure laws.
• Ability to carry firearms and obtain handgun qualification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Selective Certification: Two years of ICAC experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the activities of an investigative agency.
• Conduct criminal investigations of technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and internet crimes against children.
• Search for possible violations online, analyze complaints, gather facts and evidence.
• Interrogate suspects, interview witnesses, reconstruct crime scenes, maintain surveillance.
• Prepare warrants and ensure proper handling of evidence.
