Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management to analyze existing inventory, resolve inbound and outbound discrepancies, and drive operational efficiency. This role validates inbound shipments, places electronic orders, generates standard reports and forecasts, and coordinates stock transfers to support service levels and cost control.

The position requires 3–6 years of experience with inventory management and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Upon receipt of inbound products from manufacturers, checks packing slips to ensure quantity matches and enters data in the WMS.
• Develops forecasts of inventory based on customer demand, orders, and shipment speeds of various products and suppliers.
• Places electronic orders based on inventory reporting and forecasting; communicates with suppliers as necessary.
• Continuously monitors inventory levels and runs reports from the WMS to analyze slow-moving and fast-moving products and expiration data.
• Evaluates discrepancies and quality issues in inbound shipments and enters issues into the WMS; contacts suppliers to resolve the issue.
• Conducts regular cycle counts and physical inventories and validates count data.
