Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven management experience in a similar industry.
• Knowledge of inventory terms and commonly accepted practices.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting and monthly financials.
• Excellent communication skills and strong leadership characteristics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and inventory software platforms (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
• Define performance metrics for measurement and evaluation of supply chain factors.
• Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas.
• Implement new or improved supply chain processes.
• Analyze supplier performance and provide feedback on quality and delivery requirements.
• Oversee inventory control and movement, and dispose of damaged or closeout items as needed.
• Assist in budgeting and monthly financials; may oversee customer service.
