Ascentek is seeking a Senior Inventory Cost Analyst in Minnesota to partner with manufacturing and operations, driving cost performance, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will manage standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis to support profitability.

The role requires collaboration with supply chain and accounting teams, participation in month-end close, and process improvements within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting or operations finance.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory valuation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory costing processes and standard costing.
• Analyze inventory transactions, variances, and cycle counts.
• Support month-end close and financial reporting for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain to improve costing.
• Develop SOPs for costing processes and implement improvements.
• Prepare regular cost analyses and variance explanations.
