Job summary

A long-standing manufacturing organization based in Eagan, Minnesota, is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant. You will partner with the Controller and finance leadership to manage inventory and cost accounting, play a key role in month-end close, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with strong skills in inventory, cost accounting, and ERP systems. This position includes a hybrid work environment and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to manufacturing environments.
• Deep experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and fixed assets.
• Comfortable in environments undergoing change and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute inventory, cost accounting, and fixed asset accounting for manufacturing operations.
• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory, production, and manufacturing costs.
