Qualifications

• 5+ years of inventory accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory costing methodologies, standard costing, and inventory controls.
• Experience with Oracle ERP, ARCS, FCCS, or comparable enterprise systems.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP inventory accounting and internal controls.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or supply-chain environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Accounting & Month-End Close: Prepare and record monthly/quarterly inventory entries; reconcile subledgers to GL; manage absorption, capitalization, scrap and inventory reserves; complete close packages.
• Cost Accounting: Maintain standard costs, BOM structures; perform standard cost rollups and cost updates; analyze variances and cost drivers.
• Inventory Reconciliations & Controls: Reconcile 3PL/warehouse locations; ARCS reconciliations; enforce SOX/internal controls.
• Intercompany & Transfer Pricing: Record Mexico transfer pricing; intercompany eliminations; reconcile intercompany balances.
• Manufacturing & Supply Chain Accounting: Capitalization of freight, duties; analyze variances; support movements between plants and warehouses.
• Physical Inventory Management: Coordinate annual counts across Americas; investigate variances and propose corrective actions.
