Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an Inventory Specialist in California to manage receiving, issuing, and stocking of production items. You will count and document transactions in the MRP system, ensuring 98% cycle count accuracy and on-time delivery to production lines.

You will collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Purchasing to maintain material availability and support cost-effective production. A background in warehouse operations and safety is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Must have basic English verbal, reading and writing skills.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.
• Must have basic PC skills.
• Must be able to operate a forklift & scale.
• Must be able to read interpret Planning, Routings, Squawk sheet.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Needs high attention to detail.
• Strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Receives all incoming items and enters receipt into system.
• Receives and stocks production items.
• Receives parts and stocks parts per planning instruction.
• Issues jobs.
• Verifies count of incoming and outgoing parts.
• Maintain an aggressive follow-up system to ensure schedule compliance.
• Accurately counts parts upon receiving and issuing.
• Maintains accurate and organized stockroom.
• Attaches proper labels and documents to box.
• Maintain 98% cycle count accuracy.
• Adheres to safety regulations, particularly with saws and forklifts.
• Interfaces with Production, Planning, QA, Finance, & Purchasing to ensure smooth flow of goods.
