Job summary
Sunrock is searching for a Senior Inventory Accountant to oversee inventory across aggregates and construction materials. This role involves reconciliation, control of inventory, process improvements, and collaboration with operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5–8+ years of relevant experience focusing on inventory accounting. Located onsite in Raleigh, NC, the position also offers competitive compensation and various health benefits.
Qualifications
5–8+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on inventory accounting.
Direct experience in aggregates, construction materials, mining, or similar heavy industry required.
Hands-on experience with finished goods, raw materials, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Responsibilities
Oversee finished goods inventory processes, including item master setup and maintenance.
Reconcile physical-to-book inventory, including volumetric and drone-based measurements.
Develop and maintain standard costing models and analyze cost changes.
