Job summary
Sunrock seeks a detail-oriented Senior Inventory Accountant based in Raleigh, NC, to oversee and improve inventory processes across aggregates, ready mix concrete, and asphalt operations. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in inventory accounting, particularly within heavy industries. Responsibilities include reconciliation of inventory, implementing procedures, and collaborating with operations to ensure compliance and accuracy. Qualifications
5–8+ years of accounting experience with a strong focus on inventory accounting.
Direct experience in aggregates, construction materials, mining, or a similar heavy industry.
Hands-on experience with finished goods, raw materials, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Responsibilities
Oversee finished goods inventory processes, including item master setup and maintenance.
Reconcile physical-to-book inventory, including volumetric and drone-based measurements.
Develop and standardize inventory accounting procedures across business lines.
