Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking a Senior Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise endpoints with a primary focus on Microsoft Intune for the Defense Enclave Services program.

You will migrate MECM and on-premises Active Directory to Azure AD-joined, Intune-managed devices, and collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant endpoint solutions across the DoD environment.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years (or equivalent).
• Proven experience implementing and administering Microsoft Intune, including enrollment and migration.
• Hands-on experience packaging, testing, and deploying Windows applications using Microsoft Intune.
• Strong PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and deployments.
• Experience collaborating with customers, end users, and stakeholders.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP) .
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence for project tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of Microsoft Intune solutions per security/compliance requirements.
• Drive endpoint modernization, migrating MECM/AD-joined devices to Azure AD and Intune.
• Develop and manage Intune policies, configurations, and deployment strategies.
• Package, deploy, and lifecycle-manage applications in Intune with automation.
• Architect Windows provisioning/deployment using Intune, Autopilot, ESP.
• Configure Windows Update for Business for reliable patching.
• Translate GPOs to Intune-based controls with Settings Catalog/ADMX-backed policies.
• Collaborate with AD/MECM teams for coexistence and migration readiness.
• Integrate Intune with Microsoft 365 including Defender for Endpoint/CA/Zero Trust.
• Maintain technical docs: architecture, standards, migration plans.
