Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a Senior Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of modern endpoint management with a focus on Microsoft Intune and cloud‑native device management for the DES program supporting DISA/DoD Fourth Estate Agencies.

You will migrate MECM and on‑prem AD environments to Azure AD‑joined, Intune‑managed endpoints, develop and manage Intune policies, and integrate Defender for Endpoint and Conditional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Proven Microsoft Intune implementation and administration experience.
• Hands-on packaging and deployment of Windows apps via Intune.
• PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and deployments.
• Experience collaborating with customers, end users and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and docs.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and deployment of Intune solutions aligned to security and user experience.
• Drive endpoint modernization by migrating MECM/AD devices to Azure AD‑joined Intune management.
• Develop and manage Intune policies, configurations, and deployment strategies.
• Package, deploy, and lifecycle‑manage applications in Intune with automation.
• Architect Windows 10/11 provisioning with Intune, Autopilot, ESP, and modern provisioning.
• Configure Windows Update for Business for timely OS patching.
• Translate GPOs to Intune-based controls and collaborate with AD/MECM teams.
• Integrate Intune with Microsoft 365 ecosystem including Defender and Conditional Access.
• Enforce endpoint security best practices and monitor SIEM/SOC telemetry.
• Develop technical docs: architecture diagrams, standards, migration strategies.
