Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• CNIM registry required.
• Ability to meet competencies for registries.
• Initiative to apply tests and modify protocols for patient needs.
• Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and concentration under stress to administer monitoring.
• Strong data acquisition, analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to care for patients of all ages.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Independent performance of simple and complex IONM cases in OR and IR.
• Train and precept junior team members.
• Communicate effectively with physicians (oversight neurologist, surgeon, anesthesia).
• Troubleshoot electrode issues, simple computer problems, and adapt monitoring programs per case.
