Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Senior MRI Technologist specialized in interventional and surgical MRI procedures within an operating room environment. You will perform advanced imaging independently on Siemens MRI systems, support critical OR cases, and ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Responsibilities include QA, safety leadership, and mentoring staff and students, with a focus on high-quality imaging and collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MRI.
• 2+ years of experience; MRI and OR experience preferred.
• Licenses such as R.T.(R), CT, MR, or related certifications; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI).
• Strong knowledge in radiologic modalities and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and oversee quality assurance programs.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives to improve patient experience and staff engagement.
• Mentor new employees and students under supervision.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
