Job summary

INA Solution in North Attleboro, MA seeks an Interventional Device Development Engineer to drive design from concept to commercialization.

You will design and optimize catheters, guidewires, and related technologies, develop manufacturing processes, and build prototypes with rigorous verification and validation activities. Join cross-functional teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. This role offers substantial responsibility in product realization from development through scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interventional medical devices from concept to commercialization.
• Design and optimize catheters, guidewires, and related technologies.
• Develop manufacturing processes including reflow, bonding, extrusion, tipping, and precision assembly.
• Build prototypes and perform engineering analysis, testing, DOE, verification, and validation.
• Conduct FMEA, risk assessments, root cause analysis, and design reviews.
• Apply DFM principles and optimize product/process designs.
• Prepare technical documentation including DHF, drawings, BOMs, test protocols, and reports.
• Support design transfer, manufacturing scale-up, supplier development, and commercialization.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, regulatory, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with medical device quality and regulatory requirements
