Job summary

State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) is seeking an Assistant Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Manager, International Equity (Quantitative) to join the Investment/International Equity team. The role focuses on Europe, Australasia and the Far East within quantitative strategies and requires strong research and leadership skills.

Compensation ranges from $229,737 to $286,740 depending on grade, with standard onsite schedule 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, finance or a quantitative field is required.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• CFA designation is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Europe, Australasia and Far East quantitative and Emerging Markets portfolios for International Equity.
• Perform research to support portfolio construction, risk management and long-term performance goals.
• Lead and mentor international equity quantitative analysts and coordinate with the team.
• Provide updates on portfolio performance and market developments to STRS Ohio leadership.
