Job summary

AIG is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner - International Casualty to manage Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims across global regions. This role supports USA-based insureds and foreign claims, often venued outside the United States, handling high-exposure cases from auto to multi-district litigation.

The position emphasizes complex GL claims expertise, superior client service, and ability to travel for mediations and trials, with opportunities to present to senior management and collaborate

Qualifications

• Proven Complex/GL claims handling experience.
• Excellent customer service skills in communicating with insureds, brokers, attorneys, and claimants.
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to travel to mediations and/or trials.

Responsibilities

• Direct litigation and attend mediations or trials at manager's discretion.
• Assess liability and damages.
• Timely and accurately set reserves.
• Present the large value cases to senior management.
• Conduct Claim Reviews of foreign claims and present these claims in understandable terms for USA-based Risk Managers.
