Job summary

IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer to support AH-64D/E airworthiness and military integration at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The role requires independent work and collaboration with government partners to manage airworthiness and contracting activities.

Candidates should have an engineering degree and at least ten years of systems engineering experience in DoD contexts, with strong writing and briefing skills for leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contract requirements and documents (SOWs, IMS)
• Experience with Army Aviation airworthiness
• Ability to manage development and engineering projects with multiple tasks
• Identify, develop and maintain system component requirements
• Frequent interactions with requirements community and program leadership
• Experience with DoD systems acquisition and contracting process
• Understanding of requirement generation and validation/verification
• Expert-level core systems engineering and analysis disciplines
• Lifecycle readiness from SRS through decommissioning
• Ability to brief senior leadership and represent customers in forums

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Systems Engineer for the AH-64D/E aircraft and support airworthiness needs.
• Collaborate with prime contractors' program and technical leads to define tasks and schedules.
• Coordinate with Government airworthiness/test organizations to define the program path for qualification.
• Develop Airworthiness Qualification Plan and Airworthiness Specification and AWIS/AWR.
• Trace system requirements to test plans and test reports to ensure compliance.
• Support LRU, software integration, and VAL/VER efforts for the Apache platform.
• Provide technical input for production and sustainment contract packages (SOW/CDRLs).
• Brief leadership and stakeholders with clear, concise updates.
