Job summary

The Consensus in California is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Internal Tooling team. You will own the internal operating system, ensuring smooth operations that directly impact revenue and customer lifecycle management.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, strong full-stack proficiency, and an ownership mindset. The role offers flexible PTO, comprehensive health coverage, and exposure to innovative AI companies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on ownership.
• Experience building internal tooling and operational platforms.
• Strong product intuition and quality-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Own the Capacity product across scoping, design, implementation, and iteration.
• Translate complex operational requirements into product experiences.
• Build and maintain full-stack features for the internal toolchain.
• Identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks.
• Instrument work with observability and monitoring.
• Partner with SRE and Infra teams.

Skills

Full-stack proficiency

Experience with NextJS

Knowledge in Javascript

Familiarity with Postgres/Drizzle
