Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Manager, Internal Controls to join our finance leadership team. This remote US-based role will own key aspects of the internal controls program, with a strong focus on ICFR, SOX/CSOX readiness, and audit coordination.

You will partner across the business to assess how process changes and new products affect financial reporting risk and control design, and you will drive technology-enabled documentation and automation to strengthen the control environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in internal controls or audit with hands-on ICFR under SOX or CSOX.
• Working knowledge of COSO 2013.
• CPA designation or equivalent.
• Experience in a public company SOX or CSOX control environment.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for controls documentation and automation.

Responsibilities

• Shape effective controls around existing processes and design frameworks for new products.
• Collaborate with external advisors to develop and maintain the ICFR program.
• Plan and direct testing and walkthroughs against the annual ICFR plan.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and coordinate testing activities.
• Work with internal stakeholders to assess the impact of business decisions on financial processes.
• Develop best-in-class controls documentation and solutions with technology.
