Job summary

Blue Shield of California's Internal Controls Advisory Services (ICAS) team strengthens enterprise-wide controls, risk management, and governance across business and technology functions. The Senior will partner on meaningful control projects, assess control design and operation, and translate complex risks into practical insights that support informed decision-making.

This hybrid role blends judgment, curiosity and relationship-building to develop stronger controls practices.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, or risk advisory
• Understanding of internal control frameworks and risk assessment methodologies
• Ability to work independently and drive outcomes
• Preferred CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent certifications and healthcare experience
