Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking an experienced internal consultant to lead high-visibility transformation projects.

You will drive productivity, streamline processes, and deliver cost reductions across AGS functions while guiding initiatives from analysis to implementation. The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong data analytics skills with SQL/Excel/Tableau/Power BI, and collaboration across engineering, operations, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent is required or preferred.
• MBA or Masters in Engineering is considered an advantage.
• 7–10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in semiconductors or consulting.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to extract real insight from multiple data sources; expert-level data tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI.
• Python and Applied Smart Factory APF a plus.
• Experience across cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Marketing and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal consulting projects with high visibility to AGS executive leadership.
• Drive productivity, operational excellence, cost reduction and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Own the complete project lifecycle from analysis to implementation.
• Develop recommendations and deliverables for executive audiences.
• Partner across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to accelerate execution and unlock value.
• Apply program management discipline to keep initiatives within scope, schedule and impact.
