Job summary

Flagship Pioneering is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications to craft and execute strategies that keep our ecosystem of 40+ companies connected to Flagship's mission. This individual contributor role will own internal channels, from intranet to newsletters, and will partner with leadership, HR, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely, consistent, and engaging messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
• 7+ years in internal/corporate communications or related discipline.
• Proven success in developing and executing internal communications plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communications plans for Flagship and its ecosystem of 40+ companies.
• Create content for internal channels: emails, newsletters, intranet, digital signage, events, executive communications.
• Manage intranet editorial calendars and channel priorities.
• Collaborate with leadership, HR, and functions to align messaging and culture initiatives.
• Design campaigns to boost employee engagement, onboarding, and internal storytelling.
• Advise leaders on messaging strategy, audience targeting, and timing for sensitive issues.
• Measure effectiveness using feedback and engagement metrics and adjust approaches.
• Enhance employee experience through storytelling, executive visibility, and recognition programs.
• Maintain governance and brand voice across channels; support crisis communications.
