NextEra Energy seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to enhance and evolve our Internal Audit function. The role emphasizes technology and security audits, with Big 4 or public accounting experience a plus, plus the ability to learn our processes and provide meaningful insights.

The candidate should demonstrate critical thinking, clear communication, and the drive to challenge traditional approaches while supporting risk assessment and value delivery across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong audit fundamentals and analytical mindset.
• Exposure to technology and security audits is desirable.
• Public accounting or Big 4 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent audit reviews applying company methodologies.
• Execute large, complex audits with limited supervision.
• Contribute to audit projects by defining scope and delivering reports.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley testing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Audit leadership.
