Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to evaluate internal controls, risk management, and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting with independence and objectivity.

You will work with the Director of Internal Audit to execute risk-based audits, document workpapers, and present findings with practical recommendations to enhance controls and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, internal controls, or related field.
• Solid understanding of internal auditing principles and risk-based methodologies.
• Ability to independently plan and execute audit procedures and document conclusions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial, operational, compliance, and internal control audits.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit procedures.
• Evaluate processes, records, and controls for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop audit programs, testing criteria, and document findings.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate results to management.
• Follow up on corrective actions and track progress.
