Job summary

Nexamp seeks a Senior Internal Auditor in Washington, DC, to conduct ongoing audits of Inflation Reduction Act projects and coordinate with the tax equity process. The role is hybrid from the Washington DC Office, reporting to the Director, Labor Compliance.

You will review payroll records, perform compliance analyses, and issue formal audit findings, while staying current with federal/state labor laws and IRA requirements. Join a mission-driven team shaping the clean energy transition.

Qualifications

• Audit and investigate regulatory/compliance matters and prepare findings.
• Review payroll, fringe benefits, and apprenticeship records for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review certified payroll records, fringe benefits, and apprenticeship documentation for accuracy and compliance with federal and state labor regulations.
• Collect, organize, and analyze payroll data to support compliance determinations and reporting.
• Prepare audit findings for review and communicate the results to stakeholders.
• Investigate complaints of noncompliance related to prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements.
• Maintain audit-ready processes with complete PWA documentation.
