Job summary

Nexamp is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to conduct ongoing audits of Inflation Reduction Act projects and align with the tax equity process. You will ensure PWA documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready, working with the Director, Labor Compliance in a hybrid DC-based role.

You will review payroll records, organize data, and investigate noncompliance, while monitoring evolving labor laws and reporting monthly metrics. A background in audits and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of auditing, investigations, labor compliance, regulatory compliance, or related compliance work.
• Ability to interpret statutes, regulations, guidance, contracts, and apply to projects.
• Experience reviewing payroll, invoices, and compliance docs to identify discrepancies and risks.

Responsibilities

• Review CPRs, fringe benefits, and apprenticeship docs for accuracy and compliance with labor regulations.
• Collect, organize, and analyze payroll data and reports to support compliance determinations.
• Complete compliance audits and calculate underpayments, restitution, interest, fines where required; prepare findings.
