The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor for the MSRB division. You will lead risk-based audits, assess internal controls, and report findings to Treasury leadership.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of government auditing experience, CIA designation preferred, and strong knowledge of GAGAS, COSO, and audit software. Hybrid work optional; travel required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and professional designation.
• 5-7 years of audit experience in government, public accounting, or large corporation.
• Advanced knowledge of GAGAS and Global Internal Audit Standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead and execute risk-based audits to evaluate controls and compliance.
• Prepare and update MSRB policies, internal control, and business continuity plans.
• Serve as liaison to external auditors and state agencies.
