Job summary

JCW Group is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its expanding Internal Audit team. The role offers broad exposure across corporate functions and enterprise risk within a leading financial services organization, with strong visibility and a supportive leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of internal audit or control assessment experience in banking, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with data analysis tools (ACL/IDEA).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of internal audit or control assessment in banking/financial services
• Experience leading large, complex audits and understanding bank operations/regulations
• Advanced Excel skills plus data analysis tools (ACL/IDEA)
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related quantitative field
• CPA, CIA, CFA, or CISA preferred; willingness to earn CIA within 6 months
• Big 4 or public accounting background a plus
• Motivated, growth-minded, and confident communicator with career goals

Responsibilities

• Execute complex audits across corporate functions (finance, accounting, compliance, legal, HR, marketing, security, facilities, real estate)
• Assess enterprise, operational, and third-party risk; evaluate key controls
• Develop clear findings and practical recommendations to strengthen policies and efficiency
• Evaluate compliance with laws and regulations; assess impact of upcoming regulatory changes on audit plan
• Conduct follow-up reviews to confirm significant audit exceptions are corrected
• Prepare reports and analyses highlighting trends and communicating results to stakeholders
• Review peer work papers and coach fellow auditors (individual contributor role, no direct reports)
