Job summary

Signet Jewelers seeks a seasoned Internal Auditor in Akron, OH to join our enterprise-wide audit function. You will perform risk-based audits, develop testing programs, and document findings with strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities include evaluating internal controls, supporting data analytics initiatives, and interacting with management to implement remediation actions while upholding IIA standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3–5 years audit experience; Big 4 and/or internal audit preferred.
• CPA/CIA/CISA certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to analyze data and trends.

Responsibilities

• Execute process/audit projects to analyze risks and controls and support key business operations.
• Develop risk-based audit plans, fieldwork, and reporting of audit work.
• Identify control deficiencies, root causes, and remediation with management.
• Lead/adopt data analytics initiatives and automation opportunities.
• Stay current with industry standards, regulatory initiatives, and best practices.
