Job summary

Alan is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Corporate team. You will lead end-to-end audits across Finance, Insurance Operations, Compliance, IT and Security, driving timely closure of recommendations and representing the function at governance levels.

The role operates across France, Belgium, Spain, Canada and other countries, requiring fluency in French and English and a strong grasp of financial services and insurance contexts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on internal audit experience across functional domains.
• Expertise in risk management across actuarial, finance, legal, regulatory and security.
• Fluent in French and English and comfortable presenting to senior governance bodies.
• Strong command of the insurance and financial services industry.
• Regulatory instincts and ability to translate frameworks into findings.
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills; proficient in SQL and AI tools.
• Builder at heart with a structured, written-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end audits autonomously across Finance, Insurance Operations, Compliance, IT, and Security - from scoping through to Audit Committee reporting.
• Own and drive closure of a meaningful share of our open recommendation backlog (15 to 20 open items).
• Represent the Internal Audit function at Audit Committee level when needed.
• Co-build the next generation of audit tooling and automation within the function and the broader Corporate community.
• Act as a genuine business partner and challenger - working closely with Finance, Risk, Actuarial, Compliance, and Operations.
• By the end of your first year, you will have independently led at least 3 full audits and contributed to automation initiatives.
