Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years of audit or relevant experience.
• CPA, CIA, CISA, CCSA, CIDA, or CFE preferred.
• Experience in electric power generation, electric retail or energy trading preferred.
• Strong risk identification and prioritization skills.
• Ability to lead diverse audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of all audit lifecycle phases for assigned Internal Audit engagements.
• Plan assurance or advisory audits, define objectives, scope, timelines, and team assignments.
• Conduct interviews to understand processes and communicate scope.
• Identify and assess risks and evaluate controls.
• Determine testing strategy and leverage data analytics where possible.
• Test controls and provide recommendations to address gaps.
• Summarize issues and prepare audit reports.
• Collaborate with customers on risk-mitigating recommendations and process improvements.
• Provide updates to key stakeholders up to EVP.
• Monitor open issues, remediation testing, and close-out within the system.
