Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services in Louisville, KY seeks an Internal Audit Manager to lead and oversee the SOX 404 program and the delivery of risk-based operational audits across the organization.

This role manages audit engagements, supervises internal staff and co-sourced providers, partners with business leaders and other assurance functions, and provides timely, high-quality assurance and actionable insights to improve controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive SOX 404 leadership and risk-based audit management experience.
• Experience supervising staff or leading engagements.
• Healthcare/provider or life sciences context preferred.
• CPA/CIA/CISA/CFE preferred.
• Proficiency with COSO, IIA standards, SOX/PCAOB, and ITGC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute the internal audit plan with oversight from leadership.
• Supervise engagements, manage resources and timelines.
• Advise management on risk, scope, issues, and remediation prioritization.
• Collaborate with other assurance providers and business units.
• Coordinate with external audit and oversee co-sourced resources.
• Provide development and coaching to internal audit staff.
