Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead the SOX 404 program and risk-based operational audits. You will supervise staff and cosourced providers, partner with leaders, and deliver timely assurance and actionable insights.

The role involves overseeing multiple engagements, risk assessments, and collaboration with external audit to ensure high-quality audit work and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, IS, or related field.
• 7-10+ years of internal or external audit experience with significant SOX 404 leadership.
• CPA, CIA, or CFE preferred.
• Strong COSO, IIA Standards, SOX/PCAOB, and ITGC knowledge.
• Experience supervising staff and leading engagements.
• Willingness to travel 0-25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple audit engagements with risk coverage and timelines.
• Provide trusted advisory on risk assessment, scope, and remediation prioritization.
• Lead walkthroughs and control design assessments.
• Coordinate with cosource providers and external audit.
• Oversee staff workpapers, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure audits meet professional standards and internal methodology.
