Job summary

Antero Resources Corp in Denver is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead the internal audit program, supervise the audit team, and advance SOX 404 testing with strong governance and risk focus. The role plans audits, ensures documentation, reports to management and Audit Committee, and collaborates across finance and operations.

A CPA/CIA/CISA/CFE is preferred, with 6+ years in auditing and at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Professional certification in CPA, CIA, CISA or CFE preferred.
• Minimum six years of experience including Public Accounting and SOX 404.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the internal audit work and supervise the team.
• Oversee SOX 404 annual testing, develop and execute tests, and report results.
• Maintain the SOX budget and ensure timely remediation of findings.
• Plan, scope, assess, and execute audits per the Internal Audit Plan.
• Document audits thoroughly and present findings to management.
