Job summary

Ferrero seeks an Internal Audit Assistant Manager to lead moderately complex audit engagements across the Americas, with a focus on Wells Enterprise. Based in Chicago, you will manage fieldwork, testing, and reporting per Ferrero GIA standards and IIA guidelines, while guiding junior staff and driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and contribute to risk-based audit planning and governance enhancements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of internal audit or risk advisory experience (Big 4 or multinational CPG/manufacturing preferred).
• Familiarity with Ferrero GIA methodology and IIA Standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end moderately complex audit reviews and advisory projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-based audit plans.
• Manage fieldwork, testing and documentation per Ferrero GIA standards.
• Prepare and review audit reports with root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Present findings to stakeholders and maintain independence.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members; support continuous improvement.
