Our Retail Team in the St. Louis office is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to support our national retail and professional services rollout clients. This is a high-impact role focused on technical excellence, project delivery, and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead space planning, finish selections, and design development aligned with established brand standards
• Manage multiple interior remodel projects ranging from 1,500 to 5,000 SF (average 3,000 SF)
• Oversee construction administration: review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and ensure design intent
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and local building departments
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and brand guidelines
• Support and mentor junior designers and team members
• Potential for occasional travel based on project or client needs

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution
• 15+ years of experience in a commercial or retail interior design/architecture firm
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Exceptional organizational, design, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, detailing, and codes
• Ability to juggle 40–50 active project deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Collaborative mindset with attention to detail and a drive for quality
• Experience managing client relationships and adapting brand standards to various site conditions
• Familiarity with national and regional accessibility codes (ICC, Chapter 11B, TAS, ADA) and life safety/fire separation standards
