Lucid Motors is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Interior Components and Systems Engineer for its Michigan interiors team. You will support packaging, release, and launch of interior components, collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver robust, premium assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/automotive field or equivalent.
• 5+ years designing interior components and systems.
• Experience leading development lifecycle from concept to SOP.
• Knowledge of interior systems, materials, and supplier capabilities.
• Experience delivering engineering deliverables (DVP&R, DFMEA, validation plans).
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 for 3D modeling and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging, release, prototype builds, validation, and production launch.
• Develop interior solutions balancing luxury, craftsmanship, ergonomics, safety, cost and mass.
• Maintain engineering deliverables including specs, DVP&R, DFMEA, and validation plans.
• Collaborate with Design, Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Program Management to hit milestones.
• Lead supplier engagements: feasibility, sourcing, negotiations, and milestone delivery.
• Provide technical leadership during prototype and production builds and resolve issues.
