Job summary

DLR Group in the United States is seeking an Interior Designer to join integrated design teams. You will design and deliver projects from schematic design to construction administration, developing material palettes and detailing specifications.

You will collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members to meet goals within budgets and schedules. The firm supports professional growth, offers a four-day in-office model with some remote Fridays, and emphasizes ownership and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design is required.
• 5-8 years of professional interior design experience.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Designer Pages Pro.
• 3D visualization tools: Enscape, SketchUp, Lumion Render; knowledge of Bluebeam.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate conceptual design and space planning.
• Support project design and drafting, including models, images, and mood boards.
• Lead collaboration at project level generating design ideas and solutions.
• Communicate effectively with team via written, oral, and visual means.
• Develop design with input from Principal in Charge.
• Meet deliverable deadlines to maintain project schedule.
