Job summary

Blueprint Hires is seeking an experienced Interior Designer for our Davis, CA office to develop interior concepts, space planning, and detailed construction documents. You will manage design work, coordinate with junior staff, and participate in client presentations.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years at a design firm, with at least 3+ years in a Project Manager-like role, and strong CAD/Revit skills (Revit preferred). Certification progress toward NCIDQ/CID/IDAC is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Design.
• NCIDQ, CID, or IDAC Certification (or progress towards) preferred.
• 6+ years of experience at a design firm (with at least 3+ years in a Project Manager-type role).
• High proficiency with CAD/Revit design/production software (Revit preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, color palettes, space planning, detailing, and client presentations.
• Lead DS, DD, and CD interior design documents with junior staff for updates.
• Oversee construction administration including RFIs, submittals, change orders, coordination with contractors and clients, and site visits.
• Assist with fee proposals, project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
• Mentor junior design staff.
