Job summary

Hunter Dunning is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for a premier Manhattan studio. The role reports to a Studio Leader and collaborates with Directors and Project Managers on hospitality-focused interiors.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in architecture/interiors, strong AutoCAD & Adobe CC skills, and a degree in interior design or architecture. Hybrid work, healthcare, and401(k) accompany a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in architecture or interiors; hospitality design focus preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hospitality design experience is essential.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, millwork, FF&E, and OS&E.
• Strong experience in spec writing; DesignSpec knowledge preferred.
• Experience with all project phases: built work, RFIs, shop drawings, submittals.
• AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency; Rhino, Revit, Enscape, V-Ray preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.

Hunter Dunning is working with a leading architecture and design firm seeking a full-time Senior Interior Designer with strong management and design skills. This position will report to a Studio Leader and work closely with Directors and other Project Managers in the studio.

Your Experience

• 10+ years' experience in architecture or interiors; preferred focus on interior design
• Minimum of 5 years of hospitality design experience is essential
• Knowledgeable in materials, finishes, millwork design, FF&E, and OS&E
• Strong experience in spec writing; knowledge of DesignSpec is preferred
• Experience with all project phases, including built work, RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals
• Expertise in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud; knowledge of Rhino, Revit, Enscape, and V-Ray are preferred but not required
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, architecture, or relevant field
