Job summary

Aspen Vacations is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design projects from concept to completion across luxury vacation rentals in Aspen. You will collaborate with homeowners, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver elevated spaces that appeal to guests and owners alike.

Responsibilities include developing design direction, sourcing FF&E, managing budgets, coordinating photography, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field; professional experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in residential design with a strong portfolio.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop and oversee detailed project schedules, FF&E budgets, and resources.
• Direct design direction including space planning, millwork, furniture and lighting selections.
• Create design drawings: floor plans, elevations, millwork details, lighting layouts.
• Source, specify, and procure furnishings, fixtures, finishes, and accessories.
• Coordinate deliveries, installation logistics, and on-site styling for photography.
• Conduct regular on-site meetings with teams and vendors to ensure quality.
• Maintain homeowner relationships and provide project status updates.
• Document budgets, schedules, drawings, vendor communications, and invoices.
• Refresh furnishings and finishes across properties to maintain appeal.
