Job summary

DGA is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for our Sacramento office to lead commercial and corporate projects from concept through occupancy. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate across architecture and interiors to shape integrated spaces.

You should have 12+ years of commercial interior design experience, a Bachelor’s in Interior Design or Architecture, and strong skills in space planning, design detailing, and client relations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of commercial interior design experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture.
• Knowledge of all interior design phases from conception through occupancy.
• Experience with construction administration and review of submittals.
• Proficiency in Revit and design communication tools (Photoshop/SketchUp/Illustrator).
• Strong presentation skills and ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design efforts across projects from concept through occupancy.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with teams and consultants.
• Develop design concepts, functional criteria, and project specifications.
• Ensure quality control of design documentation and adherence to delivery manuals.
• Mentor junior staff and lead design reviews.

Education
