Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional interior design experience in high-end residential design.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of residential furniture, finishes, fabrics, lighting, and construction materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential interior design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop overall design concepts, palettes, furniture plans, material selections, and specifications.
• Meet with clients to understand lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and project goals.
• Prepare presentations, mood boards, finish selections, furniture plans, and design packages.
• Select and source furniture, lighting, fabrics, rugs, artwork, accessories, and custom pieces.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, showrooms, artisans, and trade partners.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, builders, and other project professionals.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and architectural details.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and purchasing.
• Track orders, lead times, deliveries, and installations.
• Conduct site visits and oversee installations to ensure design intent is executed properly.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
• Mentor and collaborate with junior designers and design assistants.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and project partners.
