Job summary

Roam Interior Design in Dallas seeks a Sr. Interior Designer to lead the design team and deliver high-impact interiors on time and on budget.

You will guide client relationships, supervise documentation, and supervise FF&E processes across all phases, including site reviews and coordinator meetings. The role requires an accredited degree (Interior Design or Architecture), NCIDQ certification, and 15+ years of experience with advanced BIM/visualization skills.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture is required.
• NCIDQ certification is required.
• Minimum 15+ years of interior design experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Advanced skills in BIM and visualization tools (Revit, Twinmotion, Enscape, VR) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design team and manage project planning, solutions to technical and design issues.
• Develop interiors concepts aligned with client vision and architectural concepts.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations.
• Prepare and review detailed implementation documents (interiors plans, elevations, details).
• Oversee design drawings for quality control and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with consultants and manage FF&E, budgets, and schedules.
• Collaborate across all design phases from programming to construction administration.
• Lead FF&E sourcing, custom design, and specification processes; participate in on-site reviews and meetings.
