Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

A top Manhattan-based interior design studio, recognized on the ELLE Décor A-List in 2024, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer. The studio specializes in high-end single-family residential design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead projects from the concept design phase through final completion, serving as the main point of contact with clients and all necessary trades
• Collaborate with the principal to define the overall vision for each assigned project
• Prepare and present client presentations, utilizing creative sourcing and advanced visualization techniques
• Provide design leadership, guiding the project team and evaluating design options based on client-driven criteria
• Seamlessly collaborate with clients, designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects
• Work closely with the project manager to deliver high-quality spaces with exceptional service for clients
• Oversee material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, furniture sourcing, and project timelines
• Prepare project documentation, including full drawing sets, specification writing, schedules, and construction administration

Skills & Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience in interior or architectural design
• Degree from an accredited school
• Passion for design with a keen eye for detail
• Strong presentation skills, confident and polished when communicating design ideas
• Experience in executing the full design process, from Concept to Installation
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Google Suite
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a flexible working style
• Experience working with high-profile clients
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proactive, with the ability to anticipate project needs and take initiative
• Proven ability to see tasks through to completion
