Job summary

Keeley Construction in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced Interior Designer to join our Building Group. You will develop interior concepts, collaborate with a diverse team, and help translate client needs into executable designs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in design, a design-build mindset, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a design firm is preferred.
• Must have an appreciation for design-build process, embracing construction and maintenance considerations.
• Knowledge of commercial interior design process, materials and codes and standards.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Create interior design concepts using common and essential design and documentation tools.
• Collaborate with a diverse team to arrive at the best interior design solutions within budget, schedule, and quality.
• Develop 2D and 3D images and media to convey concepts and present to the client.
• Specify finishes and furniture with an understanding of installation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with design and construction professionals to ensure concepts are practically executable.
• Review submittals and shop drawings during construction.
• Visit sites under construction to help ensure expectations and standards are met.
• Participate in industry conventions and fundraising events.
• Communicate with clients to understand their wants and needs.
