IA Interior Architects seeks a Senior Designer to lead all design phases for interiors projects in our Houston studio. The role involves establishing the vision, guiding the team, and engaging extensively with clients to ensure design intent and project goals are met.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of corporate interior design experience, strong design leadership, and proficiency in design software, space planning, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of architecture or design school; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• 8+ years’ experience in corporate interior design projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops overall design for project.
• Directs staff to complete design and technical drawings.
• Reviews design and technical drawings of junior staff.
• Reviews engineering drawings for compliance with design solution.
• Collaborates with technical staff to resolve drawing inconsistencies.
• Develops and delivers overall design and furniture packages.
• Manages design staff and provides feedback on work product.
