Job summary

Rhythm Careers is partnering with a Manhattan design studio specialising in bespoke luxury residential interiors. An opportunity for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead projects from concept through to installation, combining creative direction, technical expertise and project management.

You will mentor junior designers, develop client relationships and play an active role in business development, with a salary range of $105,000–$135,000 plus commissions, health benefits and paid

Qualifications

• 7+ years of high-end residential experience in New York.
• Strong client-facing skills with multi-project management capabilities.
• Established vendor network and interest in business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design concepts, presentations and project delivery.
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings with millwork and detailing.
• Oversee site meetings, construction administration and consultant coordination.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and procurement.
• Mentor Junior and Intermediate Designers.
• Develop client relationships and help secure new business.

The Role

• Lead design concepts, presentations and project delivery.
• Produce detailed AutoCAD drawings, including custom millwork and interior detailing.
• Oversee site meetings, construction administration and consultant coordination.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and procurement.
• Mentor Junior and Intermediate Designers.
• Develop client relationships and help secure new business.

About You

• 7 + years of experience in high end residential in New York.
• You are a confident client facer and can manage between multiple projects, clients and teams.
• You can problem solve on the spot and you will come with an established network of vendors and will have interest in business development to help the company grow.
• SoftwareAutoCAD, Studio Designer, ClickUp, Miro, Clockify and AI tools.
