About the Role
Bea Interiors Design is seeking a talented, organized, and highly motivated Senior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate combines strong creative leadership with advanced technical expertise and can independently manage high‑end residential and commercial projects from A to Z - from initial concept and design development through procurement, installation, styling, and final project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple interior design projects from initial concept through final completion.
- Develop design concepts, mood boards, color palettes, material selections, and client presentations.
- Create space plans, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, construction details, and 3D models using Revit.
- Prepare complete drawing sets, finish schedules, specifications, and project documentation.
- Select and source furniture, lighting, plumbing fixtures, finishes, fabrics, artwork, and accessories.
- Coordinate pricing, samples, lead times, approvals, purchasing, deliveries, and installations.
- Communicate directly with clients and present design concepts with confidence and professionalism.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, engineers, vendors, fabricators, and installers.
- Review architectural plans, shop drawings, submittals, finish samples, and field conditions.
- Conduct site visits, take field measurements, document progress, and resolve design‑related issues.
- Monitor budgets, proposals, purchase orders, schedules, and project timelines.
- Oversee installations and ensure work meets approved designs and Bea Interiors Design's quality standards.
- Lead final styling, punch‑list coordination, photography preparation, and project closeout.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high‑end residential and commercial design.
- Strong proficiency in Revit is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and design presentation software.
- Experience producing detailed construction documents and interior architectural drawings.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and custom millwork.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, field conditions, and project coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects from concept through installation.
- Excellent organization, time management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced creative environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality design.
- Professional, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working directly with clients and industry partners.
- Availability to work full‑time and attend site visits, vendor meetings, and installations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury residential and commercial projects, including custom millwork.
- Knowledge of procurement, budgeting, and project management platforms.
- Rendering and 3D visualization experience.
- Familiarity with South Florida vendors, contractors, and showrooms.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
