If you're looking for an environment that pushes boundaries, encourages creativity, and embraces innovation, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer specializing in Hospitality or Multi-Residential projects to join our rapidly growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile international projects, from the initial design and conceptualization phases to construction, while ensuring innovation and quality are maintained at every step. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for translating the Principal’s vision into actionable design plans, managing multiple projects, and mentoring Intermediate and Junior Designers.

If you're an inspiring and talented individual with a passion for designing luxury spaces, we invite you to join Alessandro and our dynamic team to create exceptional environments, one project at a time.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and development of innovative, purpose-driven design concepts, ensuring alignment with the overall project vision and strategy.
  • Enhance Studio Munge’s design processes, collaborating with internal teams and management to streamline workflows.
  • Oversee and manage multiple complex projects at various stages, from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, assist with team growth, and forecast staffing needs.
  • Facilitate the training, onboarding, and mentorship of Junior and Intermediate Designers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are managed and communicated clearly through engaging presentations and deliverables.
  • Work closely with clients on project programming and feasibility, including assisting in drafting and obtaining approval for ASPs.
  • Understand contracts and scope of deliverables, ensuring accurate billing and timely completion.
  • Monitor project schedules, ensuring alignment with team schedules and project timelines.

Why You'll Love Working at Studio Munge:

  • Mentorship from the Best: Receive direct mentorship from Alessandro Munge himself, along with guidance from our world-class design team, ensuring you continue to grow and evolve as a leader in the industry.
  • Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a salary that reflects your experience and industry standards, with the added benefit of performance-based incentives.
  • Wellness Focus: Take advantage of extra time off during our annual studio closure, ensuring you recharge and enjoy a perfect work-life balance.
  • Work in Style: Immerse yourself in an inspiring and creative workspace, complete with free parking for your convenience.
  • Fuel Your Creativity: Stay energized with a healthy snack pantry, stocked with premium options to keep your creativity flowing.
  • Team Spirit: Enjoy an open invitation to our regular team-building events, where we foster collaboration, creativity, and fun.
  • Global Exposure: With exciting travel opportunities, you’ll have the chance to work on international projects and expand your global design perspective.
  • Growth at Every Step: Professional development is a priority—whether through training, workshops, or attending industry events, we’ll support your continued growth.

Qualifications:

  • Legally entitled to work in the US.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in multi-unit residential or large-scale hospitality projects.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with internal teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Excellent time and resource management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Creative, resourceful, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Skilled in expressing design concepts in three dimensions through 3D modeling or freehand sketching.
  • Knowledge of current global laws and regulations governing interior design practices.
  • Strong understanding of FF&E, with the ability to collaborate with in-house specialists.

Software Skills:
